Audrey is gaining confidence with every training session, and it’s clearly showing on the court. You can see the difference in how she carries herself, makes decisions, and plays through pressure. That growth has earned her minutes at both the JV and varsity levels, which says a lot at this stage.
Offensively, she’s a bit more gifted than her twin, and she’s starting to lean into that. Recently, I watched her make a tough in-and-out crossover in traffic to break a press—one of those plays that makes you pause, because even I didn’t expect it in that moment. Plays like that show her feel for the game is catching up with her skill set.
Her jump shot has a quick, clean release, which will be huge as the competition continues to get tougher and defenders close out faster. I’ve only been working with her for about five months, but the progress is undeniable. She’s putting the work in, staying coachable, and trusting the process.
The future is bright, and the Maypearl backcourt is in very good hands. ⛩️
