Dante and Antonio Ciaramellano kicked off the Christmas holidays and enjoyed their time in Dallas with some basketball at the Dojo, and after spending time with them, it’s clear they may be turning into something special — not just as basketball players, but as young men.
Their time here was a lifetime experience, not only in America, but inside the Dojo itself. They walked in smiling and left sweaty, challenged, and inspired. From drills they had never seen before to breathing in the Dojo atmosphere, they embraced every moment.
They didn’t stop there. They wanted to compete against American players — and they did not disappoint. Watching them defend reminded me of that tenacity you often see in Australian basketball. It’s simply in them. Tough, connected, and relentless.
But this story goes beyond basketball.
They met new friends, built real connections, and created memories that will last a lifetime. We even had the chance to grab food together and talk through goals and the steps needed for them to one day play Division I basketball in America.
Dante, the older brother, is currently the more physical and explosive athlete. Antonio, on the other hand, has a smoother jumper that really stands out. Both bring different strengths — and both have bright futures.
Be on the lookout for these two in the near future. It was an absolute pleasure training you guys, and I’m excited to see where the journey takes you.
